Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)
The first film in the series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, introduces us to Harry Potter, a young orphan who discovers on his 11th birthday that he is a wizard. Harry is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he meets his best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Together, they must face the challenges of their first year at Hogwarts, including the threat of the evil Lord Voldemort, who is seeking to return to power.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a magical adventure that sets the stage for the rest of the series. The film is full of memorable moments, including Harry's first meeting with Hagrid, the giant half-giant who becomes his friend and mentor; the sorting ceremony, where Harry is placed in Gryffindor House; and the final confrontation with Voldemort, which ends with Harry's victory.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
In the second film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his second year. However, the school is under attack by a mysterious creature that is petrifying students. Harry, Ron, and Hermione must investigate the attacks and stop the creature before it strikes again.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a darker and more suspenseful film than its predecessor. The film introduces new characters, including Gilderoy Lockhart, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher; Dobby, the house-elf who becomes Harry's friend; and Aragog, the giant spider who lives in the Forbidden Forest.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
In the third film, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his third year. However, this year is different. Sirius Black, a dangerous wizard who escaped from Azkaban Prison, is on the loose, and he is believed to be after Harry. Harry must learn to defend himself against Black, while also dealing with the challenges of his teenage years.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a more complex and mature film than its predecessors. The film introduces new characters, including Remus Lupin, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher who is also a werewolf; Sirius Black, Harry's godfather who is revealed to be innocent of the crimes he was accused of; and Peter Pettigrew, the traitor who betrayed Harry's parents to Voldemort.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
In the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his fourth year. However, this year is different. The Triwizard Tournament, a dangerous competition between three schools of magic, is being held at Hogwarts. Harry is unexpectedly selected as the fourth champion, and he must compete against students from the other schools in a series of dangerous tasks.

The Ministry of Magic is refusing to believe that Voldemort has returned, and they are discrediting Harry and his friends. Harry must form a secret organization, the Order of the Phoenix, to fight against Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
